Terms of service

Last updated: 2026-05-12.

Acceptance

By creating an account, integrating ProctorOps via LTI 1.3 or the REST API, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an institution, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution.

The service

ProctorOps provides exam integrity infrastructure: session orchestration, recording, AI-assisted detection, and reviewer tools for online proctored exams. The service is delivered as a multi-tenant SaaS with per-partner data isolation.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use ProctorOps to monitor individuals without their knowledge and consent, to circumvent applicable accessibility law, or to integrate the service into environments that violate the privacy rights of test takers. Institutions are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from students prior to any proctored session.

Service levels

Commercial subscriptions include a service level agreement detailing uptime targets, support response times, and incident handling. Real-time status and incident history are available at /status.

Termination

Either party may terminate for material breach with 30 days' written notice. On termination, ProctorOps will delete partner-owned data within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
